Primitive bird with lines carving

Description

This is a very primitive sculpture in many ways.  The surface is not polished; it is rough with rasp lines showing.  The figure of the bird is somewhat naïve and the rendering of the bird’s face, especially the eyes, is done in a primitive style. The design feature that is more modern and in-congruent is the use of strong parallel lines on the wings.  Grey Arctic stone.
