Description
The unhappy expression of the Inuk hunter is the most defining feature of this Arctic black stone sculpture. Interesting veining throughout stone. The face combines more primitive style aspects (e.g. eyes) and more detailed contemporary styles. There is a good rendering of the backside. Reasonably stable. Unknown sculptor. 60s to 70s.
