The olive green and black horizontal veins of the stone are spectacular.  This is by a master sculptor from the 1960's.  Artistically the highly shaped and polished body is contrasted by modernistic minimalism (except for the detailed back flippers).  This is a highly tactile sculpture.  The low E9 number points to an older sculptor in the 1960s. Arctic stone.
