Description
Lillian Oakley is an Ottawa Valley artist and musician. She is the proprietor of Old Hastings Gallery and before that Wilno Craft Gallery. Lilly has not painted very much for the past 20 years but she is hoping to start painting again. This scene of a forest in early spring on a grey day is captured very well. It is a mood piece. Oakley blends greys and blues and browns into an appealing composition fading into the grey background.
