Description
Folk art sculptures of First Nations subjects are uncommon (mostly by the Hanna brothers). Traditional carvings usually depicted a chief alone so the depiction of a chief with wife is relatively rare. These are poly chromatic carvings and were likely carved around 1960 given the style and thin base.
