Roger Bourgault is a master carver and perhaps the best of the second generation Bourgault family carvers. Dioramas are fairly rare and these two figures are finely sculpted. The pose is natural. The detailing on the clothes and boots is impressive. And the faces and hands are exquisite which is the sign of a master sculptor.
