Description
This is a very beautiful and rare sculpture, an ideal addition for collectors of high quality folk art. Duquet is a master sculpteur en bois. He is one of only a few of the Quebecois master carvers that is also a talented fine painter of sculptures. The test of a sculptor is the quality of the faces and this face is exceptional. The detailed fine painting is best illustrated in the facial characteristics and the plaid shirt. Excellent condition except small chip in cap.
